Property Summary
My cozy, 1,000 square feet cabin is located on 13 acres of quiet, wooded, private property. The main house, which I live in, is located on this property next to the cabin (about 250 feet apart). Landscape features include a pond and many trees. There is a handicapped ramp attached to the back entry, which is where you will enter the cabin. There is a porch with a porch swing and outdoor chairs to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country lifestyle. Also, there is an outdoor firepit you can use to warm up by or make s'mores. The guest can fish in the pond, have an outdoor fire in the firepit, grill outside on a charcoal grill, pet and brush the horses, feed them treats provided by the host and plenty of room to walk around. Some breakfast items may be provided, such as fresh eggs and fruit, depending on the supply and season. The cabin is located off of a private road shared by one neighbor. It is quiet here and you can see the stars very well at night. When it's warmer, you will hear frogs, crickets, and possibly coyotes at night.

More Details
There are chickens and roosters roaming the property. This is the country so there will be possible: bugs, flying insects, possums, skunks, armadillos, snakes, racoons, etc. Texas A&M Commerce is about 5 minutes away. Cooper Lake and State part is about 15 minutes away. Greenville is about 20 minutes away and Sulphur Springs is about 15 to 20 minutes away. Public hunting land is minutes away. There is room to keep your kayak or other small outdoor equipment. There is no public transportation to the cabin. You can access the Connection from Commerce to Dallas. There are a few restaurants close by and several fast food places. Greenville and Sulphur Springs have several restaurants and some pubs. Rockwall is the closest place for much of any type of shopping for clothes and other goods. Commerce has a Walmart, Brookshire's and two Dollar General Stores.
