In comparison to the action and commotion of South Beach, the Mid Beach area is best defined in terms of its more laid-back atmosphere. Mid Beach is home to a number of restaurants and family-owned shops. You can thoroughly enjoy the outdoor activities in Mid Beach. Just go for a peaceful stroll along the boardwalk, play volleyball across the street at the beach courts, rent citi bikes nearby, spend the day on the sand or catch sunsets with a glass of wine.
